Community feedback
Greetings, my fellow bibliophiles!

I hope you've all already gotten a few good books to read from the library, although I know we haven't had too many posts and I'm still trying to wrestle reviews out of some of our quieter members.

Please remember that ALL members are encouraged to post! Don't be discouraged because you feel that a book you love isn't suited for the library. I don't care if you're the only person on the planet who loves this book--if you love a book, I want to hear about it. I'll keep posting reviews of my own every few days, but I'd love to get some reviews back from the community! It's not required, lurkers are welcome and I expect they'll always be the majority of the community, but contributions are always very much appreciated. IF YOU POST I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER. I MEAN, MORE THAN I ALREADY DO.

Next item of business, and the real purpose of this post, community feedback. How are you liking the community so far? Do you like the variety of recommendations? Would you like to see more of a certain genre of books? Would you like a more liberal use of lj-cuts on the reviews? Is there some more information that you'd like to see in the posts, like a link to Amazon.com, or the book's ISBN? If you have ideas, I want to hear them. You can even comment anonymously, if you're scared that I'll send my secret police after you. My secret book police. Oh yes.

This community is pretty quiet so far, but I think we just don't have enough members yet to make it discussion-oriented. Plus, it's kinda bad timing for must of us (end of term and whatnot).

But so far, so good :D This came just in time for me, since I can get a good headstart on my summer reading list.

I don't really have suggestions... 'Cept that you don't have a tag for "autobiography" (vs. just "biography"), so my last entry is mis-tagged. But only for anal people like me XD

... For some reason this entry is showing "O comments". YOU DON'T COUNT, ADRI.

That's true about the timing, although I've actually noticed that people tend to be more active online during the school year. Hopefully we'll get more members, but I'm just not quite sure how to go about getting them, other than continuing to post and hoping that people find this place through tag searches (hey, I got one member that way, and it's not like I have any other ideas).

I'm only worried that I'll run out of books to recommend before that happens.

I fixed the tag on your entry, darling.
